A Story of Haiti (Exclusively @ AOL Black Voices)

It's been 22 days since the 7.0 earthquake ravaged the streets of Haiti, bringing the impoverished country to its knees. It seemed as though the whole world was forced to sleep with both eyes wide open, as we all came face to face with a tragedy that was so alarming and so powerful that it not only shook a country, but an entire nation. Nations have joined in alliance with Haiti, and helping hands have united to aid in relief. Yet no relief is as profound as the relief only God can give.

Recently, I had the immense privilege to interview Haitian ambassador, Pastor Lubin Beaucejour of International Center of Deliverance, and BEM Ministries. It was during that intimate interview, that I was able to take a trip inside Haiti, as Pastor Lubin shared his experiences with me during his daring trip; only days after the 7.0 earthquake hit. Pastor Lubin took me on a mental trip through the streets of Port-Au-Prince, and even took me inside the hospital of Le Caynes. Many of the questions we've all pondered; "Did the earthquake occur because Haiti made a pact with the Devil?", "how does Haiti view America?" and "with very little income, how can I help?" All of these questions and more, Pastor Lubin answered. Let's take an unforgettable journey inside the resilient island, and get inspired!
