Obsessed

Like Mariah Carey, women who have found themselves in the very same situation, are asking the very same question: "Why are you so obsessed with me?" Have you ever had a dude stalk you, so much to the point you had to write a song about it? Mariah Carey knows about this all too well, so she finally built up enough ammunition to blast Eminem in her hot new single, "Obsessed." The song appears to be Mariah's response to Eminem's "Bagpipes from Bagdad," where the MC threatens to 'steal Mariah away from Nick Cannon.'


Through out the years, Eminem's "obsession" with Mariah Carey has bewildered us all, even the pop star herself, as she stands by her story, and denies Eminem's claims that they dated for six months. Now Mariah's taking the matter into her own hands, and does so clearly in her new single, "Obsessed." The diva finally throws some heavy blows Em's way: "I’m the press conference, you a conversation. Ooh boy why you so obsessed with me? Boy I want to know… lyin’ that you’re sexin' me when everybody knows. It’s clear that you’re upset with me. You're delusional, you’re delusional, Boy you’re losing your mind. It’s confusin yo, you’re confused you know." Mariah Carey's album, "Memiors of an Imperfect Angel," is slated to drop on August 25th, and the single is available for download as of today. Listen to "Obsessed" right now.

I Didn't Know My Own Strength

It's been 4 long years without Whitney, and it looks like the diva is finally ba-ck! Whitney Houston’s first single, “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” is a beautiful, reflective ballad about finding the inner strength to carry on. The song has a spiritual reference to it, and is so encouraging and refreshing. The new track comes from her long-awaited seventh studio album, "I Look At You," due out on September 1, 2009. "I Didn't Know My Own Strength," was produced by David Foster and was written by Diane Warren. For the new album, it has been rumored that Whitney's been working with hitmakers Akon, Swizz Beatz, Sean Garrett, Alicia Keys and R. Kelly. I am sooo excited! Listen to the full song here.
