Beyonce' s New Collection: Sasha Fierce

Oh lawd! Say it ain't so! My translation: Due to the unsuccessful sales of Beyonce and Tina Knowles' fashion muse, "Dereon" the mother and daughter duo have now decided to create an entirely new line, inspired by Beyonce's alter ego, "Sasha Fierce." Now the two claim that fans can release their "inner diva" by wearing apparel in commemoration of Beyonce's lavish "I Am. . . Sasha Fierce" tour costumes. . .

So far, the items are nothing to brag about: basic black tights and leggings, with form-fitted blazers. The collection, which will include handbags, shoes, lingerie and more, will range from $20 to $125 and be available at department stores such as Macy's and Dillard's.

Here's Beyonce's catch to reel in the fans: "The line really exudes a different side of my personality, which I am grateful that I can express," Beyoncé said, adding that the line is for "the confident, sensual and daring side of a woman ... and there is a little Sasha Fierce in every girl!"

We'll see how this collection pans out. Will it be a celebrated fave, or just another A.J. Wright back-rack clearance collection? Only time will tell.
