Some things we as women just won't ever understand. The other day I was watching the Game, episode 201, "The Diary of a Mad Black Woman" episode, where Melanie finds out the startling truth: Her boyfriend of two years, Darwin, has a jump off--none other than the foul-attitude-stuck-on-her-self-for-no-reason, Drew Sidora. In the scene, Melanie sounds off, and blasts Darwin into outer spcace, leaving him sulken and destitute on the street, not too long after confronting Drew.
This line in my mind's eye was classic: Melanie fires back at Drew: "I know you don't owe me anything; but DANG! I am another BLACK WOMAN!!!" I applaud that. Readers, this is so open for discussion--Seriously, why do women allow themselves to be used up, and play with someone else's man? Why do women do the very same thing we scorn men for doing? And vice versa, why do men cheat? I always find it to be even more insane when a man or a woman cheats, especially when they have the best waiting at home! Like Drake said, "You the BEST!" Why down grade?
Take Malanie for instance--college educated, beautiful, and loving. She once takes her focus off of her man, Darwin, only to focus on herself and her needs, and viola! He wimps like a little boy and strays. It's pathetic. And who was waiting in line? The easy-sleazy Drew. And whose following after Melanie like a little puppy dog after he gives in to temptation, and finds that it ain't so good on the other side? Darwin. It must be a sickness. . . A sickness that's over taking almost the entire human race.
Finding a good man is almost becoming EXTINCT.
In an age where infidelity is as trendsetting as a new Louis Vuitton handbag, this world is spinning out of control. What about morals, God, love? Has all that's real gone down the drain? Nowadays, you need a complete drug screening and DNA test before you can even consider approaching a relationship. Gosh! This is our weekly panel question, the first among many: Why do people cheat, when honesty awaits as an open invitation? Please, do tell!
