Lately, I find that the more and more I surrender myself to Jesus, the more he unveils himself to me. That scenario is the same for all of us-- if we just sit back, relax, and allow Him to be. . . the lover of our souls, the peace in the midst of the storm, the solid rock that knows no bounds, the infinite beauty that is the father of all creation, the more at peace we will be with ourselves, and with others. He loves of us. He loves me. And the more I allow Him to be. . . I am. I can become all of the magnificence that I was intended to be, because of Him.
Jesus is. . . a perfectly resilient bold force, an unconventional best friend who adores all of my flaws, a good listener and commentator, (if I sit still long enough to just be still, and listen!) Jesus is. . . the never-ending trilogy that is just too good to put down. Jesus is. . . the purest song ever created. Jesus is. . . the tempest before and after the storm. Jesus is. . . my love. If I just stop the madness, and allow Him to be, He proves, yet even still, that He is my everything. Who needs fame, who needs fortune, without "Him" being apart of it? I don't need it.
